Education plays an important role in shaping individuals to achieve the highest academic achievements, such as the cum laude degree in the Bachelor's degree (S1). The cum laude title, which is awarded to graduates with a GPA above 3.50 and a maximum study period of 4 years, reflects a commitment to academic excellence. This research examines various factors that influence the success of cum laude graduates, such as hard work, time management, involvement in academic activities, and good study planning. The use of the Protégé application to build ontologies helped visualise the cause-and-effect relationships between these factors. The results of the ontology analysis showed that involvement in extracurricular activities, adherence to academic rules, good study habits, and effective time management play a significant role in high academic achievement. This research provides an in-depth insight into the factors that contribute to the academic success of cum laude graduates and can serve as a reference for future research in this field.
