This study aims to analyze user (student) satisfaction with the E-KKN Information System at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang during the registration stage using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework. Focusing on this stage is crucial as it is the first gateway of interaction for students and highly determines the overall system acceptance. The independent variables examined include Perceived Usefulness (PU) and Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), while the dependent variable is user satisfaction. Data were collected through a survey of 30 students and analyzed using multiple linear regression. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the F-test (simultaneous) and t-test (partial). The F-test results indicate that PU and PEOU simultaneously have a significant effect on user satisfaction (Sig. = 0.002) with an Adjusted R Square value of 0,55. Partially, PU does not have a significant effect, whereas PEOU has a significant effect on user satisfaction. This finding suggests that in this high-stakes context, Perceived Ease of Use is more dominant in influencing user satisfaction than Perceived Usefulness, deviating from some traditional TAM findings in core systems that prioritize utility. Therefore, improving user experience aspects and simplifying the system flow are important to enhance user satisfaction.
